While studying for my bachelors degree I was one of the first members of the All Girl Varsity Competition Cheer Squad for the Scarlett Knights in New Brunswick. I also worked for the non-profit Gear Up Program as a Mentor. While working for Gear Up I planned an executed a special event for 7th and 8th grade students in the New Brunswick School District called College for a Day. The day resulting in 2 students I personally mentored deciding to make attending college their scholastic goal when they thought it wasn't in the cards for them before. Cheering for Rutgers and working for Gear Up are two major highlights of my lights.
